Destination Oilmen's Golf Invitational
September 30, 2026 - October 4, 2026
6th Annual Golf Tournament
French Lick Resort, IN

ABOUT

There are 12 major Oil and Gas basins in the United States. The founders of the Destination Oilmen’s Golf Invitational (DOGI) have connected with so many great people over the years while working in multiple different basins. The tournament was established in 2020 as a means of connecting Oil and Gas employees, both service and operators, through an annual golf tournament at some of the top tier destination courses in the US. The tournament is intended to bring those who love the game of golf together for a weekend of fun, fellowship, and networking.
Each year, DOGI partners with a Non-profit organization (voted on by the board of directors) as a way of giving back to the community. Part of the proceeds from the tournament are presented annually to the organization of choice to share the Oil and Gas industry’s appreciation.

GALLERY
Sketched on a napkin and carved into history by Hall of Fame architect Pete Dye, this course hosted the Senior PGA Championship in 2015. Senior PGA champion Colin Montgomerie called it "one of the iconic courses" in America and one that golfers all over the world will want to play. This championship golf course on one of Indiana's most dramatic elevation points has narrow, immaculate fairways and rugged, intense terrain. The Pete Dye Course has gained national acclaim for its 40-mile panoramic views of the southern Indiana countryside, three man-made lakes, "volcano" bunkers and a variety of elevation changes. A robust 8,100 yards from the professional tees punctuate Dye's signature sting from vista to vista.
"When you walk around the golf course and you can see for 30 and 40 miles and the rolling hills of southern Indiana, it’s the outside ambiance that really makes a golf course," Pete Dye said. "A lot of us shoot a 90 or 100 or whatever it is, but it’s the experience you have when you play a golf course. It’s not only playing a course, but what you see. There’s so many great, long views out here that I hope the ambiance will put this golf course on the map."
